I have a second USB printer that I will be adding to the shop Airport and that will save the walk to and from the house when I need to print something for the shop. The USB port allows the connecting of any USB capable printer as a network printer for use by all devices. I have an ethernet LAN in the shop connected to the "extender" and another in the house connected to the primary Airport. Allow a full minute for the AirPort Extreme to restart back to a slow, blinking amber light status. USB printer Mac with Mac OS X v10.2.
